I feel so stupid!

I feel completely crazy! Yesterday I was picking up Brinsley to go to my parents. While I was waiting on her I was telling Johnny that I hoped that this certain tree in our yard leaves's would all turn this cool red color. He was saying he didn't think it would and I said well the time is changing this weekend so maybe since the tree would not be getting as much sun light it would help with the leaves changing (it made sense in my head) and Brinsley agreed. Johnny looked at me like I had grown two heads. He was like Carrie the time changing doesn't effect the amount of sunlight we get we just get it at different times. I started laughing at him trying to explain what I was talking about but he still was looking at me like I had lost my mind. So I get in the car as I'm buckling my seat belt I look at Brinsley and said He's right she said I know! We laugh so hard that I could hardly drive. Some days my brain just doesn't work right!

Thankful for:
1. Donut's on Depot for giving us donuts
2. Cold medicine again
3. Credit card company being able to cancel a lost card
4. My boss for not getting pissed at me
5. My new bed

My Weekend

I had a pretty good weekend except for one thing I was sick but the Natural Lite made me forget for a moment. Friday-Johnny and I carved pumpkins while we watched Psycho. Saturday-2ND Annual Halloween Party we had so much fun everyone had really good costumes we had pirates, super heroes, witches, fairy, convict, pimps, hoes and even Heff and Bridgett decided to stop by. Sunday-I laid around trying to feel better and watched more Halloween movies. So far I have watched Halloween, Halloween 4, Halloween 5, and Halloween H20. I just love those movies. BTW I know my last two post seem kinda of backwards but I didn't have time to really say anything on the first one.

Bored

It's rainy and cool outside, all I want to do is go home lay on my couch wrapped up in a quilt and read a book or sleep. But instead I'm stuck in this stupid office trying to get crap done. Sorry I'm really not in a bad mood. It would just be really nice to have the option to stay in bed when you decided that is what you want to do.

I was asked about the shrunken heads. They are easy to do: First peel your apples, second cut out a face, place in 150-170 degree oven for 8 to 10 hours. Now you have shrunken head and they will continue to shrink for the next couple days.

I will take the challenge

I was reading Amy's blog about being grateful, she is so right. I see people everyday that have been abused and hurt to the core of their being. I have so much to be grateful for, so from now until Thanksgiving I will name five things everyday that I am grateful for:
1. My Family of course
2. My crazy co-workers for making me laugh so hard everyday and having the same sick humor that gets us through the day.
3. My friends-I have really good friends and I love them
4. My Parents
5. My home

I challenge you all to do the same thing you may see that you have it really good! Thank you Amy for this reminder!

Gnome

I was talking to Tracy about what I'm going to be for Halloween. I think I have settled on a woodland fairy. She was saying that Johnny should be a Gnome. I laughed so hard I thought I would fall out of my chair. But discussing it more with Amy and Keena it is not that bad of an idea. But will Johnny think so, we will find out soon. He wants to be something funny. This would be funny.

Halloween

Everyone will probably get really tired of hearing about this but I can't help myself I love Halloween. I have slowly started with the Halloween stuff in my house and getting ready for my 2nd Annual Halloween Party. I got some really cute ideas out of Martha Steward Living. Skull on a cheese platter, a black jack o'lantern (which Noah thinks is so cool that he wants to do all the pumpkins that way). Oh well the obsession has started.

My Weekend

I had a great weekend Friday night-Me and Johnny went out to eat by ourselves (which we never get to do). Hung out with Gregg and Shelley for a little while. Saturday-went to a fall festive with Robyn and Nick. I bought a cute GA bulldog birdhouse. Then went to a reunion for my mom's side of the family, it was interesting to say the least. Later that night went to some friends, we hung out, the kids rode around and around on the golf cart. Sunday-I cleaned my whole house and decorated the outside for fall right now, Halloween is coming soon!

October

Just to let you know that October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. You may not think that it happens very often but in reality someone is abused by their partner every 9 seconds. So just please take a moment this month and remember the victims of this horrible crime. If you know someone who is being abused please call 1-800-33-HAVEN.
