I have started a new blog if you get a chance check it out Carrie's Little Kitchen! I wanted to do this to share my recipes and also a way I can go back and look at them myself. Thanks for all the well wishes I am feeling a little better I just can't get rid of this sore throat.

I feel worse today...

but I thought I would post some pictures of game day... I woke up to this in my yard! I hung Big Al on it

Johnny and I before the game we looked so happy we just didn't know what the night would bring...Shelley, Robyn, Amy and ME ignore the roll tide shirt in the back! oh if anyone is dying to know what I brought to the massacre it was velveeta and salsa mixed together I took the lazy way out but it got gone quick. I am going to crawl back in the bed with Dixie now I hope I feel better tomorrow.

Ear Infection

I planned on doing a very detail post with pictures about my weekend, and yes Alabama stomped our butts. But I woke up this morning with a terrible headache and earache so I think I may go lay back down.

A work in progress

I started working on my outside fall decor this is what I have come up with so far I still need to get so more pumpkins. Whatcha' think?

Also who is watching Dancing with the Stars? Who's your favorite so far? I haven't watched last night's show yet so I don't know who went home but Kim dear you just can't dance sorry.

Shepard's Pie

Last week I posted one of my favorite fall recipes I have been craving it ever since then so that's what we had for dinner last night it was so good!

First you brown your ground beef (drain) add the gravy

Next add the peas, carrots, and corn (really any veggie you like will work)

Put this in a casserole dish or pie plate which ever and top with mashed potatoes and cheese, pop in the oven at 425 for about 20 minutes. It is wonderful!Also yesterday I went to the mailbox to find this sweet card from my friend Amy it made my day! Thanks Amy can't wait to see the Christmas ones.

This was my decorations outside last year I am trying to decide on what I am doing this year Wal-Mart has pumpkins for 4.00 woot woot! Any suggestions?

Happy 1st Day of Fall!

I had a great weekend, friends, food, and football what more could you ask for right. Well on to more important things. I went with my sister Robyn to her ultrasound today (along with Nick her husband, my mama, my daughter and Nick's mom).

I am so excited boys are so fun I can't wait to spoil it rotten! I want to thank everyone for the tailgating ideas can't wait to show you what I have come up with. And yeah its more coffeetablegating but it still fun. I really want tickets since I only live 45 minutes from Athens but we will have to see if that happens. Oh who else is excited about Heroes tonight! If I didn't have this broke toe I would be jumping up and down with all this excitement today I might not be able to handle it all!!! lol

Okay girls I needs some help next week GA plays Alabama so we are all getting together to watch it, this game has been the one everyone has been waiting on. I have nothing against Alabama let the Tides Roll but someone not mentioning any names has been going on all summer about this game so ya'll it a big deal here. So I really needs some good tailgating food ideas. I was going to add Mr. Linky but honestly it was just getting on my nerves. So I am begging for some ideas!

Fall Recipes

http://www.nesttokeep.com/ is hosting a fall recipe party so I thought I would list my favorite I don't have a picture but it is so good and easy!

Shepard's Pie

Pack of Instant potatoes

cup shredded cheese

jar of brown gravy

1 lb of ground beef

onion chopped

can of corn drained

peas drained

brown and drain your ground beef, then mix onion, corn, and peas with the gravy. Put in a casserole dish. Prepare mashed potatoes according to directions. Put potatoes on top of the mixture in the dish. Then top with cheese. Bake about twenty minutes at 350. Its so good! You can really put in what veggies floats your boat. Enjoy!

And this is thumbs up because it was actually cool enough to wear a sweatshirt this morning yea!

Okay a quick note on Big Brother I am really glad Dan won this was a hard season for me I never really had a favorite but I think Dan played the game well!

Toe update it still hurts I have been on the couch most of the day with it up on a pillow because everytime I let it dangle it starts bleeding again. Johnny says he is starting to worry about leaving me alone because lately I have been so clumsy is this what happens when you hit 34 oh dear I am going back to prop my foot up!

Busy Week

We had a really nice weekend Friday we got Noah's new bed put together. Then all the boys went fishing. So Shelley and I went out to eat then hung around the house.Saturday we watched the game and grilled. Sunday I was lazy just hung around the house watching movies. Well this week the kids are out of school for fall break I really need to think of some stuff to do with them thats cheap any ideas! Oh yeah I almost forgot Brinsley has a bug collection due next Monday. Yuck! I made this cute sign for my mantle I think it turn out pretty cute. I know I tend to ramble on about nonsense just bare with me I am a little hyper sometimes!Well Happy Monday to everyone!
Post update: I should have said but wasn't thinking straight the sign is made out of felt, then I cut the letters out, and hand stitched around the letters.

Quick word

I want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes ya'll's sweet comments about my age might go to my head (not)! So far its been a great birthday right now I am waiting on hubby to get home so we can go eat! Oh check out my toes cute huh!

Random Thoughts!

My birthday is tomorrow so it has me thinking about things today like where I thought I would be at 34 yeah 34 I can't believe it. I decide to really do some soul searching to figure out some things in my life right now. Ok enough of that someone asked about the cupcake holder and pots and pans Target of course!



Big Brother tonight I just can't wait! Has anyone seen the line up for Dancing With the Stars? I thought it was pretty interesting! Okay enough nothingness from me, now I am going to try and work through this funk! Oh this is me getting ready to watch some football Saturday!

I am sorry about doing this because I normally try to keep this very light and fun. With that all said someone left me a very rude comment (I deleted it). I just can't figure out the reasoning behind it. It really hurt my feelings it was just so uncalled for so please if you don't have something nice to say keep it to yourself.

More Fall stuff

A quick post of my new fall something its was inspired by Shannon at Bless our nest. Its a candle holder and a glass plate glued together cute huh!
