I could not resist I had to get something I did good though I only bought this

and well this too is this not the cutest thing ever its hard to tell but its made out of copper. You can buy different things to put on it like pumpkins at Halloween stuff like that. (It came from Ace Hardware.

Projects and Pecan Pie

Here is a little project I did in my kitchen I think it turned out so cute I am working on the whole redo its turning out well but I am having the hardest time finding curtains...





(it really looks better in person the pictures are not that great I need a new camera).

I want to think Alaura for the great pecan pie recipe it turned out great my family really enjoyed it tonight.





American Idol: I think there was something beside Coke in the judges cups last night they were acting crazy! But it was so funny!

Okay a really big M I won this on a Thifty Decor Chick giveaway around Christmas and this is what I decided to do with it I think it looks so good!

As far as the background I am leaving this one right now b/c its the closest thing I could find to match my header but I am not sure if I am really in love with it. I am off to watch American Idol.

My Family's New Favorite Meal!

My lovely daughter Brinsley does not eat red meat so I am always in search of chicken recipes. Well I came up with this super easy chicken recipe that my family could eat every night!

Here are the ingredients: I used chicken tenders cut up in to bite size pieces (1.5 lb)

Taco seasoningMexican Cheese dip (its in the dairy aisle)rice I have used white but I really like the brown better (3 bags)Cook your chicken until its done. Add taco seasoning according to the package. Boil your rice. Pour your chicken over the rice mix well and top with cheese.Its SO good makes about 8 servings.

Holly Hobbie

When I was a little girl I loved Holly Hobbie my bedroom had a Holly Hobbie bedspread I had the lunch box its was wonderful. Well I found this at a thrift store yesterday it was too cute to resist. And only .50 to boot!

A little paint later now I have the sweetest recipe box!

Pecan Pie and Vera Bradley!

I got the new Vera Bradley catalog in the mail I am in love with the new colors the pink one is my favorite of course the name is Cupcake Pink you don't get any cuter than that!

I went to my Grandparents this morning I came home with a sack of these I am thinking pecan pie but the problem is I have never made one any suggestions?Here is the garland hung sorry the picture is so blurry. Yes I still have Christmas lights out I just can't bare to take them down yet!

Cute Garland and no tape...

First of all we didn't get any snow Noah was so mad. I felt so bad for him maybe next time.

Today I decided my house needed a good cleaning so I cleaned for about four hours straight~ where someone please tell does all the dust come from where I just don't understand.

After cleaning I made this super cute garland, went to go hang it up, no tape I swear someone in my house eats tape b/c we never have any ever!

Also in all my cleaning I came across these tins I bought last year I am most definitely making cupcakes with them this year!

Monday

Who knew that today was the official opening day to prom season. I have never said "oh how cute", "that looks so good on you" and "I think that might be the one" so much in my life. Will I survive prom season we shall see!

They are calling for snow tonight I seriously doubt we will get anything but for Noah's sake please send some snow thoughts this way!

Robyn's Shower!

Ok if you read my blog regularly you know my baby sister Robyn is having a baby (Andrew). We (Christy my other sister, my mom and myself) threw her a shower today. The theme was rubber ducks and storybooks we ask everyone to bring a book to start Andrew's library. The diaper cake it turned out so cute!and againMy Mom its blurry sorry (Christy made the apron its so cute she made me one for Christmas I will have to post pictures of it!)

More Valentine's Decor

I got this wonderful plate from Amy for Christmas! Dont look too close the ribbon still has snowmen on it! I haven't had time to find a Valentine ribbon yet.

Brinsley wrote it for me she has the best handwriting (Ignore the Windex in the background).I love itI have been working on the baby shower stuff for this weekend I can't wait to post pictures everything is going to be so cute.
