Quilting
I started this quilt about six months ago (or maybe longer) its a string quilt each strip is sewn together to make a square. I am determined I am going to finish it before the end of the month
so I took myself across the road to the library to get me a few books on how to finish the backing etc. wish me luck :)

I actually make quilts for a living. I have a 14 ft quilting machine. People make their own top like you did then I quilt it together with the batting and the back. I don't know how to do it by hand, just my big machine...good luck.

ReplyDeleteI know nothing about making quilts...except one time I was going to make one and I bought all of the little squares and stuff, but never got around to making the quilt. LOL. Yours is looking fabuous!! I love the colors!

ReplyDeleteI love the colors! I did some quilting but always just tied mine together with yarn. Never did the hand quilting. Good luck with the backing. I am sure you will figure out how to do it. Everyone just seems to find a way and the blocks are beautiful so I am sure you will do just fine!
