Caleigh, Award, and A Cute Craft

First~ Caleigh is doing great she bounced back to her crazy little self, right now she is sunning on the back porch.

Second~Sweet Ms. Reynie awarded me with this great fall decorating award! Thank you so much! What a great award! It was very hard to do but I have narrowed it down to five bloggers to give this award to: (but everyone really has such great stuff I can't wait to see what Christmas is going to bring).

House of Whimsy
The Shabby Nest
Shell in Your Pocket
Delightful Home
At Home in Georgia

Everyone go check out these great blogs!

Third~A cute craft

I made these cute little things a couple of years ago as place settings. They are so easy to make the hat part is a miniature flower pot painted black, the rim is foam core, add a ribbon and a name. Great for any Thanksgiving table!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Very cute website with a lot of great ides Carrie. I can't believe you've been married for 15 years. You must have gotten married in gradeschool, youth is on your side. I've got to figure out how you did the books. Maybe I should head out to a thrift store to find some old hardback books. I too love books and so this may be a hard project for me :-)
Take care and I hope you feel better soon.

Yeah for an award!!!! And your little thanksgiving craft is too cute! I don't think I have ever made anything for thanksgiving. Gonna file this baby away.

Thanks so much for the award - that is so sweet of you!

I'm so glad that your little kitty is doing better, too :)

The pilgrim hats are just adorable. We made fingerprint turkey placecards one year, where you make the feathers and the turkey using your fingerprints and brown ink - then you draw on the little red thingy. :)
