Twilight and the Weekend

Saturday Robyn, Amy and myself went to see Twilight I will tell you I had no expectations for the movie at all because I know how difficult it can be sometimes to get a book on to film. For me it was ok nothing special but enjoyable. I think if you haven't read the books you would not get from the movie how much they love each other. That's my spin! What did yall think? The husbands saw James Bond and Noah saw Bolt he like it alot. Afterwards we all went to eat at Wild Wing it was very tasty.

Yesterday I painted this table I am so loving the color its called Treefrog I feel like I really need some color in my house its all just too brown right now! Its not as bright as it looks in the picture. And cooked a wonderful meal thanks to my handy dandy crockpot!

I hope everyone has a great day I think I am pulling out Christmas stuff this afternoon!

Oh I almost forgot we eat breakfast at Johnny's grandmothers for Thanksgiving does anyone have a good breakfast casserole recipe?

I love that color- so cute!!!

And that crock pot meal is one of my all time favorites!!!

My mom makes a good classic breakfast casserole. If no one else has one, I'll ask her for it when she gets home.

I have a recipe for Paula Dean's french toast casserole. I guess you could look on the food network. Love the color of the table! I agree with you on the movie. It was okay.

That table looks GREAT! I loved the movie but I think it was because of the chemistry between Bella & Edward. I do think you need to have read the book to understand the intense attraction between them. Did you see the cameo appearance by the author in the movie?

I saw the movie and loved it!!!! Now I have to read the books. :)

When we do breakfast at my MIL I take hashbrown casserole to go along with all the other goodies. :)

I have not read the books so I wasn't to excited to see the movie...maybe I will try the first book.
Have you started your new job?
I am thinking about setting out a few Christmas too. Our grey weather is putting me in a Christmas mood. Have fun with yours.

Your little table is cute. I love the color. I am glad that you enjoyed the movie. I don't have a desire to see it but I am glad people have something to be excited about. I guess I'll decorate Thanksgiving night. The hubby has to work so I'll be home alone.

Glad you got a movie in! That is always fun. Isn't movie theatre popcorn so much better than anywhere else?!?
Oooh~ the bfast casserole we use is this:

10 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1 tsp salt
1 sm onion chopped (I cheat and just use a bit of dried onion actually!)
1 lb sausage, cooked/drained
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 tsp dry mustard (if you don't have it, just squirt a dollop of regular cold mustard in and it's just fine)
dash of pepper
10-12 slices of bread, cubed
(3-4 drops Tobasco sauce...optional)
~Put bread cubes in greased 9x13 baking dish
~Mix all other ingredients and pour over bread
~refrigerate overnight, covered
~Bake at 350 for 45 mins.

Viola! So good since you can make ahead of time. Is this a record for longest commment ever girl?!?

Love the table! Great color!

I am still reading the first book and really enjoying it so far. I have heard that the movie is not that good so I don't know if I'll spend the money to go see it. We'll see.

Oh I love this color of the table. I have one I am going to paint but not sure yet what color I want to do it with.

Never even have heard of this Twilight Book...Guess I will watch the movie. My hubby loves Vampire movies...maybe I can trick him into watching this one. hehehe

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Carrie!

I saw twilight and loved it! Of course, I have yet to read the book, eventhough it has just been sitting here for over a month.
I loved it.
