Oh, I remember Holly Hobby - I loved her too when I was a little girl. So cute! :)
I love Holly Hobbie! I still have the mini Holly Hobbie on my bed. My big one is in the top of the closet...she was starting to fall apart. I had the lunch box and a couple of little vases. I wonder if my Mom still has them in her attic?! And your red recipe box would fit so well in my red kitchen!
Hello Carrie; What a great find for you. Love the red. My oldest daughter loved Holly Hobbie, she had a dress and roller skates. My goodness I feel very old now.. lol

Wow! What a great find! And what a deal on it too!
Oh, I love Holly Hobbie! When I was little, my sister and I would argue over which one of us got to use the Holly Hobbie bed sheets! I love how you painted the little recipe box, and how perfectly fitting for you! (Since you love cooking and have a cooking blog! :) Speaking of which, I am going to pop on by your other blog now to see what's cooking! ;) Have a good night!
I was a Holly Hobbie girl TOO! I still love Holly Hobbie!!!!
I love what you did to the recipe box. The red paint is great. I received the Vera Bradley catalog yesterday. It is loaded with so many cute things. I love your Valentine garland. I think you should keep up your lights. I have lights on a beam in my house. I wrapped fake greenery around the beam and them the lights. I keep them up all year. Great night lights. Except for when that one little light goes out, not so much fun!

I used to draw Holly Hobbie characters, I loved them so much. At the time, I had no idea Holly Hobbie was also the name of the illustrator. Thanks for posting the image. Brings back great memories.
