The Dollar Tree is great but not for kites

I normally don't post on the weekends but I thought since everyone was still in the bed I would post me and Noah's afternoon yesterday. It started with a trip hereto get these 2 for a dollar I should have know better

he tried

and he tried but they just would not work very cheap I know what did I expect out of .50 kites but we laughed alot

so it was off to explore the lake (Johnny saw this picture and thought it was a snake he about had a heart attack.)

and skipped a few rocks

look we found some heart rocks I have been wanting one every since Robyn's student gave her one
pictures by Noah I was gone to get snacks out of the car

his shadow great picture I think
yes I know very nutritious snacks I know Mt. Dew but hey he sure enjoyed it.

then off to the swings I love to swing

so then I got bored so I started to write out have a nice day but Noah was like just put Hey so I did
he added the smiley face

and of course no day would be complete without ice cream!

Had fun Noah it was a great day!
What will we get into today?
Hugs
Carrie

What a fun day! It looks like you had a great time!

lol - I saw those kites at the Dollar Tree. I found a really great one at Costco for $20 if you are still looking for one. They have all different themes.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Glad you and Noah were able to enjoy some one-on-one time together! I thought what he was holding was a giant snake, too! Whew!

Mmm cheap kites 2 for a dollar... You can make your own kites for even less money - and they fly fantastic! All you need is BBQ skewers, thin plastic and some sticky tape. The cheapest kites possible!

To see some of these kites in action, just click on the 'How To Make...' link on the left of my site and check out the videos.

Hope you guys find a better cheap kite sometime, even a $10 kite can be quite good for family fun.
