Oh so very much like when I cooked a casserole that SPILLED over just after cleaning the oven...what the Heck was I thinking. Clean the oven then never cook again right?

Our dishwasher is broken now too and has been for a few months. This looks typical of my sink after I finish the dishes. It's annoying but somehow I always choose to keep the kids! Cindy

I can imagine that happens a lot with teenagers around. I use to drive my parents nuts doing that.

Whoever they are....those same kids keep coming to my house and do THE SAME THING!!! Beats all I have ever seen! You know what else those SAME KIDS DO at my house....empty the tea picther and OJ jug and put it back in the fridg....EMPTY!!!! Good grief...you would think their parnets would teach them better!! LOL When I catch those kids doing that at my house again...I'm gonna, I'm gonna.....wash those dishes and make some more tea & OJ!! lol

I used to use plastic throw a cups....you know, the red solo cups. But trying to be a little "green" and just quit buying them. Now, I think everyone gets a clean cup out of the cabinet every.single.time. they get somthing to drink! ay yah!

This sounds/looks familiar. And I just live with one person. :)

haha, well if they're bored this summer, they can help you out by doing their dishes! My brother is that way. He gets a clean glass everytime, it drives my mom crazy..

And I am SOOO pumped about Big Brother!

My daughter and hubby do the same thing....it drives me NUTS!! We do have a dishwasher and it will be set up to run (hasn't run yet, you can set it on a timer) and they can't manage to get their cup or dish into it so EVERYTHING will be clean. It will be sitting in the sink just like you are showing....GRRRRRR

Looks like you have the same teenage children I have!!! I can have an EMPTY dishwasher, and they still stack everything in the sink!!! AUGH!!

Happy dishwashing.

this happens to me, too - I think they get a new glass every time they walk in the kitchen at my house!

Ugh...bless your heart! Especially hand washing! Let them watch Fly Lady...about keeping the sink shiney clean... Maybe they will take it to heart.

I have a rule 1 cup all day. No it doesn't always work! Ugh!

At least they made it to the sink! Ha. Have a great weekend!

Well girl, your sink is cleaner than mine. I do know what you mean though. It seems like glasses multiply when our backs are turned.

BTW, your summer list is a great idea. Looks like lots of wonderful things!

I am totally stealing that phrase. It shall go along with "happier than a tornado in a trailer park."

Bless you for having to hand wash your dishes!!! Bet it's a little easier since they are pink and cute ;-)

Hey Carrie!! As we have discussed so many times before...the joys of TEENAGERS!!! LOL!!

Hugs!! Carrie♥

Yes - that is what happens around here. I have everything cleaned up and then they come home from school and a tornado hits the house.

Are you still doing the Shred? Is your daughter still doing it? Mine only tried it twice and now refuses to do it anymore.

XOXO

We have a dishwasher but everyone except Caitlyn apparently does not know how to open the door. I am constantly telling Chandler that he can only have one cup for the entire day. He conveniently forgets everytime.

It's really amazing how that just seems to happen all by itself...

One good thing, at least the cups (and dish) made it to the sink instead of being left in another room! :o)

Did you get the "I don't know?!" from the kids too?

Laura said...

the sink is never empty. Just accept that and you will feel better.

oh..bought my daughter HELLO KITTY underpants today. Thought of you. (this sounds really creepy....didn't mean for it!)

Oh I know exactly what you mean! How is it that dirty dishes...and dirty laundry...can pile up so quickly? I think it multiplies!

Hope you had a great weekend my friend! Take care!

BTW, I love the pink dishes!
