The Simple Woman's Daybook

For today...

Outside my window...Its sunny not quite as warm out which is really nice

I am thinking...I really need to get back on a good exercise schedule again

I am thankful for...my family we all got together last night and it was nice being with people that have seen you at your worse and best and love you!

From the kitchen...tonight grilled chicken breast with pasta on the side

I am reading...nothing I really need to have something good. Any suggestions

I am praying...our country

I am creating...I am working on some bracelet orders and finishing some more pillows

Around the house...weeding the garden and beds out front and getting ready for a yard sale on Saturday

One of my favorite things...coffee mates French Vanilla creamer

A few plans for the rest of the week...cleaning out closets and hinting about my birthday!

Join the Daybook
here.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!

xoxo

Good list this week Carrie! I love the SWDB - such a good journaling log. Sounds like you have been busy!

It has been cooler here today and yesterday and it's kind of getting me in the mood for fall.

XOXO

Great List and I have totally missed reading your blog this summer! Books to READ...HMMM If you like Historical Fiction Philippa Gregory is a good author.
Beverly Lewis is always good for uplifting reading. Lisa See (Snow Flower and the Secret Fan) and Amy Tan are good authors to. Saving Fish From Drowning by Amy Tan.

Diane Setterfield wrote the Thirteenth Tale which is good.

Outlander by Diana Gagalon is a great series but SUPER LONG BOOKS!BUT I LOVE this series.

Dorothea Benton Frank wrote Sullivans Island that I liked.

Kathy Riechs writes the books that go with the TV series Bones.

Charlaine Harris wrote the BOOKS for TRUE BLOOD series on HBO. The Sookie Stackhouse series. They are all over the place right now.

Gregory Maguire Wicked

OK that is a few off the top of my head.

LOL

Happy Reading!

Love your entry here and am now motivated to get mine going again. I haven't done this simple woman journal for a while now...I am so far behind on everything right now..ugh.

A great book and series....Gods and Kings by Lynn Austin..get it at the library...there are 6 of them and they are all fantastic! They even have it on cd there as well...although I didn't care for the voice of the person reading them so I read through all of them instead.
