I spent a lot of the weekend looking for patio lights Home Depot and Wal-Mart nothing so I got the idea to make my own I am so happy with results!
So I thought I would share
all you need is Christmas lights and Dixie Cups (I use 3oz)

cut a hole in the bottom of the cup

poke the lights through

voila you have cute lights

then wait till husband gets home to hang them :)

I think those are so cute!! I got some very Liberty of London-ish paper cups from Ikea a few months ago that would be adorable made into lights!!

Who says Christmas lights are only hung during Christmas? With this idea, your Christmas lights can now be hung all-year round. I have an idea; I think cupcake liners are also a good alternative for Dixie cups. What do you think? I want to try using the cupcake liners one of these days. :)->Allison Shallenberger
