Hello Monday

Hello I hope everyone is having a great Monday

Monday's are my day off which is great

I have spent the day doing laundry, watching Fear Fest 

 crocheting the afghan is getting big enough to cover me up bonus of crocheting blankets lol

 Dixie is loving the cooler weather so she can snuggle

 I am about to have a cup of this goodness :)

I painted this little pumpkin (it needs another coat) but I think it is super cute

Next Monday is Halloween can you believe it!!!

A Rainy Night

I just got home from work, an interesting afternoon for sure, I found a 24oz. Miller High Life in the non-fiction section lol weird stuff happens at the library for sure!

Its raining so a slipped in my pj's 

 I plan on crocheting the night away... catching up on some tv

 and eating this delish chicken pizza that Johnny made for supper!!!

 Oh yea I wanted to share my salt and pepper shakers that I got a The Dollar Store how cute are they I have a slight obsession with salt and pepper shakers I will have to show my collection one day 

I am off to enjoy my rainy evening

Happy Monday

Happy Monday...its a no make up kind of day since all I have been doing all day is cleaning, laundry and AMC Fear Fest :)

 Sunday we did indeed cook a big sinfully good meal during the week we eat fairly healthy but on Sundays it on

 while Johnny was working his magic in the kitchen I took alittle stroll in yard looking at all the fall goodness

 I have to say these are the best mashed potatoes I have ever made Paula would be proud! Do not judge lol

 here is my progress so far it looks

 blue in the picture but it is actually a really pretty purple

Favorite New Fall Shows

 2 Broke Girls was not sure at first but I really like it (lose the laugh track pls)

 seriously you know me and horror movies lol (don't let the kids watch)

 love love love I have watched the first three episodes like three or four times I just love it

 I love this era I always thought I should have been born in the '50's... I think I might have been one of these girls

My Day Off

After my day yesterday I just went to bed to watch cheesy tv I forgave Glitch

Friendship bracelets and Hello Kitty

Brinsley got me this adorable Hello Kitty earring holder for my birthday I just love her so much!!!

 I am really enjoying the fact that friendship bracelets are back I love making them

Awe

It is finally starting to cool down here in the south in the mornings and at night you can feel that crispy air that reminds you fall is on its way!!! I am so ready too I can't wait for football, soups, sweatshirts and more crocheting when its 100 degrees outside I just can't think about crocheting but I am ready I have several projects that I am wanting to finish.

My Monday

I have to say I love having Mondays off I started out getting this beauties out of the garden fresh salsa to come

Noah has not been on the blog lately so here he is growing up more and more :(

I have been wanting to make a pound cake for awhile my grandmother always had a pound cake at her house it just reminded me so much of her and my papa

this is the first time I have ever made a cake (gasp) look how nice straight out of the oven I was so scared it was going to fall or stick! Now I have the baking bug

You know you have blogged for awhile when your kids start posing with food lol
