Rain and School

Yesterday I decided that I would take pictures of me picking up the kids at school I don't know why just thought I would, I know I am crazy in the good way though! Here is the stop sign at the end of my road. I know ya'll are so excited you are bouncing in your seats.

Our first stop the High SchoolThere is Brinsley can you see her she is the black dot walking this way

Brinsley getting in the car you notice she doesn't looked shocked that I am taking her picture she knows I am crazy too!

Brinsley and myself waiting behind all the buses on the way to the middle school (this is a rough picture sorry)Come on Mr. Police officer I need to go get my other child across town (not really but the way they make you pick the kids up it seems like its across town not on the same block)My steering wheel not sure what that was all aboutFinally we have made it to the middle school (notice the blue duck thats a story for another day)Noah hurry its raining and these crazy people don't want to wait on you to put your drum in my trunk!Safely in the car ready to go home I am not quite sure what kind of smile that isIf anyone is still reading this I thought I would throw in a couple more pictures here are me and CallieAnd more Halloween stuff you know we can't have a post without something Halloween!

Off to clean sorry for the crazy post! Please come back they will be better!

Carrie,

Your kids look just like you. This makes me want to post about my picking up and dropping off escapade each and everyday. Except with no rain. Oh I wish we would get rain. :-)

I think this is a perfect post. It brings all of us bloggy friends into your everyday life! We have a VW too! It's a Jetta. It's been the best car we've ever owned! I pick Rand up from school on Tuesdays. Kenners takes the bus home. She doesn't want to miss out on any socializing time!

BTW, I can't tell who is the high schooler...you or your daughter? :)

Carrie,

PLEASE tell me that snake in the picture isn't real!!!! Yuck!!!

Anyway, I enjoyed reading your post. Too cute and one I can definitely relate to. You have two great looking kiddos, by the way!
They grow up much too fast, don't they? :(

Hi Carrie~
That was a fun little trip; I am glad you took us along! Do you have to pick them up every day? Oh, I am going to get down on my knees right now and thank God for the school bus! :)

I think this was a great post idea, too, by the way! Oh, and what is the blue duck all about? Now you have me all curious! :)

You totally crack me up girl! And I totally see me doing something exactly like this. I enjoyed your post today as always. It's being real and being you....nothing wrong with that. BTW, you have some good looking kiddos. I bet you're told often that you look like the sister in the group, huh?
