Green tea and thrift store finds

I don't know what happened but I hit 34 and my metabolize has become nonexistent I don't think I have started eating more but I have decided to face this head on quick because I refuse to go up a pants size and the obsession I now have with looking in the mirror every five minutes and saying "Oh god my face is getting fat". Has got to end! I have started exercise, drinking water and green tea it is really not bad at all I am concerning a complete detox after Christmas.

Ok I am done with that on to more important issues like what a got at the thrift store yesterday!

I spent 2.50 this is what I bought~
This sweet Santa for .50

This white vase thing for 1.00And this great little blanket for 1.00I think I did good~

BTW Did any of ya'll watch Heroes last night? It was so good I can't wait for the new ones after Christmas! Well I am off to help the chic a peas (my kids) study for finals.

I'm sure you look fine, but I do know how you feel about "feeling" fat faced or the pants getting snug. Anytime I see myself in pictures, I cringe andthink how fat my face looks and it makes me sick. Anyway, I think you are off to a good start with more exercise, lots of water and just eating right.

Good luck to you!!!

You found some great things - I like the white vase thing. I wish I could drink green tea but I haven't found one yet that I can drink. I know what you mean about the metabolism. Mine's gone! :)

My roommate drinks Green Tea all the time! I wish I liked it, but I've yet to find any tea that I really like. It's really good for you. (So I did learn something in my medicinal herbs and plants class!) ;-)

My hubby enjoys Heroes. It is a little too dark for me, so I usually compute while he watches.

Great finds. Love the little white vase.

I love green tea! I'm with you, I need to detox. Could you let us know how to do it? Especially after the holidays. :-)

Wow... you did good on your finds! I don't watch Heroes but my husband likes it. He wants to get the seasons on DVD.

I know what you mean about your weight. I went up a pant size this year and I refuse to go up another. I need to do something at the first of the year to maintain my weight. I eat a ton of carbs and I am afraid that I will have to cut back.

Great thrifty finds! I have never watched "Heroes", but everyone who has says it's the best! I'm going to have to try some of that Green Tea. I know it's supposed to be very good for you.

Nice stockings, I always forget to fill ours. I better but that on my never ending to-do list!!!
I read your post about living in Georgia. It was very entertaining! Loved every one! The parking spot was funny. Why is it that we can walk around a mall for hours, if needed, but we have to park as close as we can to the entrance. We don't really concern ourselves with shade in Rhode Island.
Busy here, catching up.
