stockings
Ok I have to say that Johnny and I have been married for fifteen years and have never had stockings sad I know so I decided this year that would not be the case. When I was little the stocking goodies were the best things! I made these they will do for now, they turned out pretty cute and it only cost me 2.00.

I remember loving the stockings as a kid too! I love your idea to use white fabric for one of them, and the buttons were a great idea too! :)

I looked forward to our stockings as a kid too! My parents use to fill them up with nuts, fruit, and a lifesaver book. My all time favorite thing was the Lifesaver book and I actually saw one the other day at Walmart. I thought that they no longer made them. Have fun with your stockings. They are really cute!

Great job on your stockings, Carrie! Chris and I used to "exchange" stockings, but stopped about 6 or 7 years ago. We had a harder time coming up with ideas to fill them, rather than the actual gifts!
I love the white stocking. They remind of when we used to put our stockings on our feet. I loved Christmas at our house. Miss it!
Oh I love the stockings also...I had them growing up and my kids have had them but me and hubby have not...maybe this year I should do the same.
