I know a lot of people don't really get into Valentines but I love having a day to show the people in my life how much they mean to me

Johnny grilled us a great steak dinner

 he bought Brinsley and I flowers I forgot to get a picture of hers (Noah got a M & M bubblegum machine)

 I wore these cute shoes to work

 our Valentine mantle

 and I got my new phone :)

This and That

It is cold here in Georgia good thing I am still crocheting afghans

 I finished my mom's 

 it turned out great

 I put out a few Valentines decorations today 

here is a peek of our little project 

 I will reveal the finished project tomorrow!

Stay warm today I am going to the dentist with my mom this afternoon hoping to sneak a thrift store trip in there some where

Its A New Year

Hey ya'll can you believe it 2012!

 We had a great New Year's cooked collards all day for dinner got to have that money lol

We spent New Year's Eve

With great friends and family

 today we are working on a project that I can't wait to share

 I wanted to share a cute and easy New Year's Eve craft with you 

I bought the glass at The Dollar Tree

 I then painted the bottoms with chalkboard paint

now you can write your name on them so you won't lose your drink

or whatever you want to write on them

cute right!

Sugar Skulls

This is what I have been working on a sugar skull 

 garland I have been seeing these on pinerest I knew I really wanted to make one

 I just love them

I did make a garland but its dark  in my living room so I will take pictures tomorrow lol I did not realize there was a penny on the table oh well ;)

Fall Mantle

I wanted to share my fall mantle its actually a little more halloween 

 I guess... I really wanted to keep it simple 

 I love how the mirror color just pops with the black and white

what I did this weekend

*looked for a car (no luck yet)

*watched football Go Dawgs

*watched scary movies

*crocheted

*hung out with friends

Scarecrows

Scarecrows have invaded my town! 

 The local downtown development is having a scarecrow contest 

 Yesterday I went around town taking pictures of all the great scarecrows

 Everyone did such an awesome job!

 on my little tour I ran into a local blogger and her husband working on their scarecrows so of course I asked her to pose for the blog lol

 of course I had to go back and get a picture of the finished product

 aren't they the cutest :)
