Oh honey, we were cut from the same mold. I have THREE calendars on my fridge, one for meals, one for Life and one for Lauren's lunches. I have a list on my mousepad for blog stuff, I have a list on my computer for BIG projects and it is posted by my desk, I make a list each morning of what I have to do that day (on a sticky that I carry with me) I list my groceries out three months in advance, I organize my picture folders in to do lists and done lists, the girls have their chore lists, I have a "personal to do list" and then their is my reading list, my list of what clothes the girls need for summer is on my blackberry notepad - hey, I think that is it!!!

PS - this was a fun most, I smiled the whole time I read it and while I typed my comment.

Without my giant agenda I'd be lost. It's broken down into days and then has a huge month overview and things are filled to the brim. It keeps me sane!

I make list, then I lose them! I still make them though. I like your idea for a summer list, I am going to make one, too.
That looks like one fun party! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Oh Carrie, I am a list kindof girl. I get picked on because I make myself reminders and tape them to my keys. I will forget if not. I also email myself lists and reminders. A girls got to do what a girls got to do.

I love lists too, but haven't been making them lately for some reason. I really need to do a chore list. I keep waiting on myself to do a real cutesy one, but it is not done and I've been wanting one for a year or so...You have inspired me to get back into it!

I loved your summer list. Was this all your own or did you involve the whole family? Loved it!

Hey I'm making homemade salsa this summer too...my first time!

I have a question. Are there rewards for the chores? Allowance? Or do they do the chores because they are a part of the family? Just curious? Thanks!

Good lists! I was scrutinizing your kids' chore lists. I make my kids do theirs on Saturdays but it's hard because we have sports games on Saturdays so it's really cutting into chore time. I'm trying to come up with a better system.

XOXO

lol, we are long lost sisters. :D I am definately a list maker. I tell my kids at school that I should own stock in Post-It's because I go through so many!!!! I, too, have multiple calanders, and it's hard to get everything on all of them! My work desk calander is my most reliable, and then i try to remember the right info to transfer it to the kitchen one. Then there's my husband who keeps his coaching schedule on his phone! :/ I couldn't make it through a day without a list. There are just too many thoughts running through this girl's head!

I make lists too...although I must admit, your summer "to do" list is more than I do. I love the hammock line! :)

Wow Carrie! You are pretty organized. I like lists but I never stick to them. Sounds like you guys are going to have a super fun summer!

I have to have my lists. I can't live without them. The past two weeks I've been slacking on making them and I feel out of sorts. I have notebooks for different lists too. They are a necessity.

Way to go, girl, on being incredibly organized! My "thing" is Post-It Notes...they're everywhere! Everytime I think of something I need to buy or do, I jot it down on a Post-It Note. I'd be so lost without them! Hope you have a great weekend, Carrie!

I think I need to follow in your example!

I love it! I'm a list maker too. Mine are not as neat as yours. I'm forever going through Post-it note pads. I use a small Post-it and write my list and stick in on my cell phone. Every day at work I make out lists- to do lists, weekend grocery list, etc.

We only have our 2 yr old at home, so we don't need a calendar just yet. I just write appointments and stuff on our family calendar in the kitchen.

I'm so crazy about lists that I have lists of lists. It's insane. A list makes me feel in control of stuff. I guess I'm a visual person, so I like to see the "to-dos" in black and white...on paper. It helps me not feel so overwhelmed when there is a lot going on.

I'm loving your Summer To-Do List!

Hope you have a fabulous Friday!

You should see the post-it notes up and down my fridge handle. That's my idea of a dayplanner.
Yours are cuter and very impressive.
LOVED the Prom pic below. Thanks for sharing. So cute!!!

Count me in on the list of listmakers!! Even though, I haven't been too good at making them lately...maybe that is why I have been feeling so overwhelemed and unorganized...hummm!?!?!?

Hugs!! Carrie♥

You are soooooo real!!! Love it!

We are definitely a lot alike! I like by the dry erase calendar (we each have out own color) and if I don't have a list in front of me, I really can't function.

I so want to be a list person! I am just completely unorganized and I can't stand it!

I would get so much more done if I were a list person?

Alicia The Snowflake said...

Oh wow! I am completely impressed. I want to be a list person. But I just am not. I start them and never finish them. So I give up. Oh well, isn't that what makes us all different...some of us are just more different than others :o)

Take care my friend!
Hope your week is off to a great start!

I am a list maker! I have a calendar that I carry with me at all times, a calendar in each bedroom and one on the fridge that is updated with important info. Then I have a notebook that holds all my lists and random things. I love your summer to-do list. I have a page in my notebook of things that I want to do this summer but yours looks much better.
Its hard being OCD huh? lol

Hey Carrie~
You are not alone! I am a list maker, too! It really helps. Okay, and I completely understand the cleaning thing~ I have to sweep the house and clean up/ sweep the bathrooms every day! If I don't, it just nags at me all day!

I especially liked your summer list! I think we need to make one like that, with fun summer things to do together as a family! Great idea! :)
