Justin makes the BEST Baked Ziti which would go great with what she is bringing! It's making my mouth water just talking about it. YUMMY! I can send you the recipe if you want.

Maybe a lasanga?

Do you want a cold pasta or a hot pasta? You could do a cold pasta with chicken and tomato.

(and I mean--bite size pieces of cooked and chilled chicken...not a big cold chicken breast! LOL!)

All great ideas. The lasagna could be made ahead of time, which is always nice. Baked ziti, yum! A chicken pasta salad loaded with veggies! Don't forget a nice loaf of bread and some olive oil for dipping!
By the way, your house seems like the fun house in the neighborhood, always something good going on!

Boy...I wish I could be of help with this one. My advise would be RAGU or Prego. HAHAHA
Good luck. And have fun.

Hi Carrie,
I just made a pesto pasta last night that was very tasty. It had fresh basil and tomatoes sprinkled over the top. The other suggestions sound great too!

Have a fun night with your friend!

Hope it turned out great.

My husband ate alot of the tomato/mozzarella salad in Italy - They call it a Caprese Salad.

I think anything would go with it. What did you end up making?

Granny Squares - Whoo hoo!!

I'm not a cook and have no suggestions. But I love home grown tomatoes and broiled with cheese would be delicious.
