I have been hinting that I would love to have some of my moms old
Pyrex that she does not use so yesterday I came home with these beauties
Also this quilt that my grandmother made for me when I was little I loved this quilt so much I am very proud to have it I remember it being on my bed for so long I love it. I think about how long it took her to hand sew all those little dutch dolls.
Summer is officially over because I am back to being a brunette I do this every year when I am done with summer I go back brown, when I am ready for summer I do the blond thing what ever it makes me happy!

I can't believe she gave you the Pyrex dishes! I remember that blanket!! Love the hair color!
You look cute both blonde and brunette - not everyone can do that.
The quilt is amazing - definately a treasure!
Pyrex dishes like those are such treasures, as is your quilt! You got so lucky! I love your haircolor, too! Did you do it yourself?
Wow, you came home with some treasures!
Your hair color looks great. I usually add brown low lights to my hair for Fall. Maybe I should go totally brown...now you've got me thinkin'.

also...hello kitty toaser?? LUCKY!!
My daughter had a blanket with the same dolls on it.
Love the brown hair. Great fall color.
The Sun Bonnet Sue quilt is priceless! The love that went into it can't be bought with money. Lucky you for getting that and for getting the Pyrex. They just don't make things to last like they used to! I have my mom's Pyrex bowls and I bet she had them 20+ years before I got them. :) Cindy
You lucky duck! I collect vintage Pyrex, but nobody's ever given it to me! :b I did find a large Pyrex bowl at a garage sale today for $1.
Love the brown color on you!
Those are definite treasures! LOVE your Sunbonnet Sue quilt. I have one but it is so old it is falling apart.
hi! thanks for stopping by!
how lucky! enjoy the pyrex.
it gets addicting! so many choices!!
What a lucky day you had at your mom's. Pretty nice of her I must say. The Pyrex bowls are wonderful!! And I REALLY, REALLY love the Sunbonnet Sue quilt. Not only is it just so cute, it has a wonderful story behind it.
LOVE THE HAIR!!! I tried blonde once, had it professionally done, and it went kind of a gold/orange color. Lucky that you can pull off both blonde and brunette.
Have a great day.

I love how everything that's old is new again. I've been digging through antique stores lately to find some "new" treasures. Love your dishes, sooo cute!! oh and the hair too :)
I love that you change hair color with the seasons!! A girl after my own heart :)
That dutch doll quilt is amazing and isn't it true about the time put into gift we receive when we were young! My aunt made quilts for me when I was young and they're wonderful!
Your hair looks great! Love the color. I always rummage through my mom's stuff when we go to visit and find some great stuff.
Your quilt reminds me of the bedspread I had when I was little. My room was Holly Hobbie. I think it's the hat :o)
You really lucked out with your family treasures! The quilt is beautiful and the pyrex is so vintage, so awesome!
About the hair!!!! I love the color! Do you do it yourself or have it professionally done? If you do it yourself, would you share your "how to?" Like brand, color ,etc?
I haven't blogged in forever, but will try to get back on track.
Happy October!
Just so you know ... the pattern of your quilt is "Sunbonnet Sue"
Love the Pyrex and the quilt! Your hair looks great!
