Quilting

I started this quilt about six months ago (or maybe longer) its a string quilt each strip is sewn together to make a square. I am determined I am going to finish it before the end of the monthso I took myself across the road to the library to get me a few books on how to finish the backing etc. wish me luck :)

any tips would be great!

It Pays to Go See Your Parents

I have been hinting that I would love to have some of my moms old Pyrex that she does not use so yesterday I came home with these beauties

Also this quilt that my grandmother made for me when I was little I loved this quilt so much I am very proud to have it I remember it being on my bed for so long I love it. I think about how long it took her to hand sew all those little dutch dolls.

Summer is officially over because I am back to being a brunette I do this every year when I am done with summer I go back brown, when I am ready for summer I do the blond thing what ever it makes me happy!
