The Weekend

Hello how was everyone's weekend ours was wet! Although the sun did make an appearance today but it was cold.We spent the weekend watching Halloween movies and football. Halloween has always been my favorite scary movie so we decided to watch the Rob Zombie version all I can say is I didn't sleep very well afterwards I watched a bunch of episodes of King of the Hill just to get the images out of my head.

Dixie enjoy the movies too I pretty much lived in my pj's all weekend but hey thats coolI had a lot of time to work on crafts so I made some of these button bracelets

pom poms that I am now hooked on making I have a special idea for theseand a cute Halloween pin

I well leave ya'll with a little Halloween trivia...In the 1978 movie Halloween it had such a low budget the mask that Michael Myers wore was actually a William Shatner mask painted white.

I hope everyone had a happy weekend!

Hugs

Carrie

Carrie, I can't believe you can watch these types of movies! I saw Halloween in college for the first time in a theater and it still haunts me. I developed a healthy respect for knives after seeing this movie. Just hearing the word connected with a movie brings back the nightmares! Cindy

I love your cupcake pajama pants! Did you make them? I just made flannel pants for my son out of takeout chinese print fabric {they turned out great!} and am about to make a pair for my daughter {she chose pink camo fabric} anyway...must try to find cupcake fabric :)

I adore the bracelet you made! x

Your crafts are so cute, Carrie! Love that bracelet! The weather we had was perfect for staying inside and watching old movies. Unfortunately, I had to be out in it most of Saturday and it took me all day Sunday to thaw out! :)

That is exactly why I have never seen the Halloween movies. I am such a scaredy cat that I would not be able to sleep for days. I watched the Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo once and that was bad enough!

Soooooooo, I am a huge fan of horror and have always loved Halloween myself! Tell me -- did you like the Rob Zombie version of Halloween????? My kids are still small so it's few and far between times that I actually get to watch scary movies. I've wanted to watch but sometimes this newer stuff truly messes with my mind! It looks so real compared to what I grew up watching! Anyways, glad to find you!
