Bad blogger lol

I do feel like I have been neglecting this space lately I am sorry I hope when school is out things will slow down
Speaking of school Brinsley graduates next Friday I have alot of feelings about this some good some bad but I know she is a good kid I am so proud of her look she bought me a frog house for the garden just because she knew I liked it. See good girl :)
We will be finishing up with Noah's homeschooling in a couple of weeks now looking for a good High School curriculum Any suggestion?
Johnny and I have been spending a lot of time talking how we really need to slow down and enjoy life and nature. We are going to try to really start living a simpler life
growing our own food (I wish I could have some chickens but we live in the city maybe that will change in the future).
canning, baking etc. just a simple lovely life
I am excited I have always been drawn to this naturally Johnny calls me an old soul lol

I know this post is so random but it is what is lol

I hope I will have a new recipe to share I am making something new tonight so I hope it turns out as yummy as it is in my head

Hugs
Carrie

Carrie...I'll be thinking about you as Brinsley gets ready to graduate. It really is such a time of mixed emotions. You're so happy for them, but sad for yourself. I KNOW that everything is going to work out just fine!

I am with you on the simpler life!! Have you tried Georgia Cyber Academy? It is free and goes all the way through high school. It is becoming VERY popular!

I've never heard of a frog house. I might have to see if I can find one of those....

Carrie it all looks so pretty. You have a lot of eye appeal in your back yard. The plants look like they are flourishing.

How about you just sell your homemade/homegrown goodies to the locals? :) I'd love to be able to do something like that soon.

I am right there with you on living a more simple life. I have been really motivated to clean out our house! We are having a garage sale soon and what doesn't sell is going to goodwill!

your garden and yard look amazing! Isn't so relaxing to get out there and work? Time just stands still! It is a great way for me to unwind after a crazy day at work:)
