Yummm, making me hungry!! I am SO excited for Thanksgiving. My favorite dish is green bean casserole, which is funny because as a kid I HATED it. Now I can't get enough! :)

Sounds like the perfect menu, Carrie! I'm not a big fan of turkey...I'm more of a ham kind of gal. Dressing is my favorite part! I found a recipe for Squash Dressing in Southern Living magazine a few years ago that has a little bite to it...so GOOD!

A few of our family staples (other than turkey) are mashed potatoes, homemade noodles, and pumpkin pie. It wouldn't feel right without those things. Now you've got me excited!

Foooood! I am so hungry now.

We don't have Thanksgiving over here in Britain but my family Christmas dinner consists of Turkey, stuffing, sausage meat, sausages in bacon, veg, gravy, roasted taties, parsnips, and other vegetables along with a traditional Christmas cake and Christmas pudding set on fire with brandy! Two years ago I went to my boyfriends family and his mum made winkles, oysters and a selection of seafood...I was a bit disappointed but I ate it because I didn't want to be rude. I'm a completely traditional girl at heart.

We eat almost the same food-yum!! I am not allowed thru the door if I don't bring Pineapple Cheese Casserole. I also make a really yummy sweet potato casserole with a crumbly brown sugar pecan topping.

Pumpkin cheesecake...yum. I'm evidently a carb fiend because I love corn pudding and some type of cheesy potatoes. When at my mom's house, my favorite used to be cheesy broccoli and rice.
