The Doll house is Ready For Spring

The month of March and myself are not really friends at the moment. With Brinsley's drama ( and its nothing major just boy troubles its just hard to see someone hurt your daughter). All day yesterday Noah had been complaining about not feeling well...
about eight until four in the morning I was up with him throwing up (sorry if thats TMI). So I have been in a funk all day so I decided to doll up the doll house for Easter and Spring.

I think it turned out super cute I really am thinking about

decorating the mantle for spring I need some brightness around here

I swear this has been the longest winter ever

The Dollhouse is done!

Remember the dollhouse well she is done (for the most part there is some detail work to be done)

Johnny glued each individual shingle just  look at all the detail

Having a better day today just in a funk this week I feel like I am walking around in circles getting nothing done. Going to see Andrew this afternoon I will be sure to take some pictures he is growing like a weed.

Updates

First I wanted to update everyone on little Andrew he is doing great! Look at that little cutie I could just squeeze him!

Second update is on the dollhouse as I am typing this Johnny is glue the last window on I think it will be done by Monday. I am so excited and I can announce my contest!I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Its suppose to be rainy and cold here yuck!

Blanket Tutorial

Ok Rambling Gal this is for you sorry it took me so long.

Bare with me I am new at this ok here goes... you need two pieces of fleece that coordinate with each other about 1 1/2 to 2 yards. Lay them on top of each other trim to make them even. Make yourself a 4X4 in. square to use as a template to cut out the corners. Like this

Next cut your strips about 4 in. long

Now I tie every other strip, do both long sides first then the ends so the material pulls even. (double knot)Now tie the rest and you have yourself a nice little lap blanket this one of course is for Noah. I hope all of this made some sense. The doll house is coming along nicely all the windows and walls are painted.

Oh yea my sister Robyn who is pregnant went to the doctor today and he told her she had dilated 2 cm. Andrew should be here soon!

Enjoying the Weather

We have had a beautiful weekend it makes me long for summer! It was a pretty laid back weekend. Cleaned out Noah's chest of drawer, grilled some chicken and of course worked on the dollhouse! Johnny is so into this he loves working on model airplanes and stuff so this is right up his alley!

My bedroom has turned into dollhouse central (its killing me alittle on the inside but I will bite my tongue).
